| Details: | SUMMARY: Brown sediment in new filter DETAILS: I contacted the operator on 2/27/12 to discuss the customer complaint about sediment accumulation in a brand new water filter. Mike thinks that the fire hydrant flushing at the new fire station discolored the water by pulling stagnant water from an area with little use, Livermore Rd and the possibility of corrosion of the new fire hydrant. He is working on flushing the Livermore lines today. ACTION NEEDED: Flush distribution lines more often in remote distribution lines. | ||
