| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive repeat coliform samples DETAILS: I contacted Tim to let him know about the total coliform positive repeat samples. He said the system was disinfected yesterday and he was in the process of flushing out the distribution system. He said they were having some pump electrical problems that had been taken care of but may have contributed to the positive samples. I let him know he would need to do public notice. He said he had already done a notice. I asked him to provide a copy to this office and the state. He faxed a copy to this office and I will forward it the state on this date. I let Tim know that he may want to take a couple of Special samples after the disinfection to be sure it was effective. I also let him know that they will need to take 5 temporary routine samples for the month of April and this would count as the 2nd quarter sample. He said he would be sure the samples are taken. If all temporary routine samples are negative they would be back on the quarterly schedule. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples and fax notice to the state. | ||
