Details:	SUMMARY: Received complaint regarding water quality DETAILS: I received a call from a resident at the Aurora Acres water system who wished to complain about water quality at the park. The resident stated that the water was generally discolored (brown) and also foul smelling. The resident attributed the ill-health of several other park residents to the water. We discussed the previously reported dissolved iron as a possible cause, and examined the water systems sampling history. The sampling results for the water system dont show any evidence of chemical or microbiological contamination, but the water system is utilizing a well that has not been approved for use. It is possible that the improperly constructed well is contributing to the problem. The caller also reported that up to 115 residents live at the park permanently, which would result in the water system being classified as a community PWS rather than a transient non-community. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up regarding the population at the water system and take enforcement action regarding the unapproved well if possible.
