| Details: | SUMMARY: Followup on Plan Review DETAILS: Called Don earlier this afternoon to discuss status of well drilling project. This proposed well was added to an existing plan review begun in 2002 (included other well and 43K storage reservoir). Note, the other components of the 2002 plan review, specifically Well #4, a new 43K gallon tank and Fire Dept standpipe, a new chlorination facility, and enclosure for the existing Well #3, were completed and documented in letter dated 12/15/2010. The new well has gone out for bids and the water system is hoping to have the well drilled by the end of September 2012 - however, the cost has increased since it was originally planned, and the bids will require board action. Therefore the project could be delayed again. I discussed with Don that once drilled, they must submit a copy of the well log, and also a site schematic show the location of the new well, set backs to any sanitary hazards, location of other wells, and distance to any surface water within 500 feet of new well, to allow review and final approval of plan review. The new well is planned approx 50 ft from a creek, so I told him there may be a requirement for assessment monitoring - he understands that this is a possibility.
