Details:	SUMMARY: New ranger checking in on volation status of system DETAILS: Apparently J.R. Collier was promoted and is no longer the contact for the OPRD systems run out of the Chiloquin office. Kirk Barham is the interim ranger, until a new manager is appointed this winter. Kirk phoned in because he was confused about a violation post card he found. I could not find a current violation for their system, but I let him know that they would need to submit a nitrate sample and a source water assessment sample before they close this system for the 2012 season. I also found some emails I had sent J.R. in February of this year explaining how to fill out the coliform lab slips so that their samples would be entered correctly into Oregons public drinking water system database. I forwarded that information to Kirk, along with the link to our new webpage on shutdown procedures for seasonal systems, in case that is helpful. Kirks email address is kirk.barham@state.or.us. ACTION NEEDED: Not sure I should change the contact person yet, since Kirk says he is there just for a few months (mostly the off season for these systems) until a new manager is named.
