Details: SUMMARY: Copper Alert DETAILS: I contacted Chris Elkins to discuss the copper Exceedence. He mentioned he has been unable to get the pH levels up where HBH recommended (7.4-7.8). We discussed the affect adding chlorine may be having also on corrosion control. I asked Chris to contact Rob Henry at HBH for suggestions on next step. One of the recommendations from HBH’s 2010 report was to switch from soda ash to caustic soda if copper detections persist. I sent an email to Chris with Rob’s contact information and I also contacted Rob to let him know the water system would soon be contacting him. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up with water system and HBH.
