| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine +TC DETAILS: Joel notified me of a routine sample collected Wednesday 11/28/12 that was positive for total coliform, negative for E. coli. Three repeat samples were collected today with results available tomorrow. The sample site is in the northern area of the District’s 435 pressure zone. This zone encompasses the North Bethany area above Highway 26 and the sample site in question is adjacent to Springville Rd. Chlorine residual at the time of collection was 0.84 mg/L (total) with a specific conductance of ~60 µS/cm. This indicates a slight blend of JWC and Bull Run with dominance favoring the latter. The Grabhorn well was not running at the time so no triggered source water sample is required. ACTION NEEDED: No further action required at this time-- will wait for results of repeat sampling and respond accordingly. Update 11/30/12 per Joel, all 3 repeats were absent for coliform/E. coli. | ||
