Details: SUMMARY: Responded to copper over the MCl DETAILS: System exceeded copper over the MCL. Level is 1.40mg/L and the MCL is 1.35mg/L. Spoke with Chris Tate new operator. Explained that WQP samples will be required. Letter mailed out for required tests an date submittals. State rules require water system be placed on a 6 month sampling schedule for lead and copper. Chemical change form sent to the data team. Chris said new hot water pipes were recently installed, possibly copper. He will submit WQPs as soon as he received the letter with instructions. ACTION NEEDED: Waiting for WQP tests. Action letter mailed with required comply dates. Chemical monitoring form changing sampling schedule to every 6 months mailed to data team in Portland
