| Details: | SUMMARY: Main break on 05/27/13 affects 77 connections (boil water notice issued) DETAILS: At approximately 3 PM on Monday 05/27 a six-inch water main broke affecting an estimated 76 homes and one school (Arcadia Elementary). Reports from customers indicate complete to partial pressure loss and dirty water. The break was isolated by 4:30 PM on 05/27 and repaired by 3 AM on 05/28. Service was returned at 8:30 AM on 05/28. Our office was notified at 12:00 PM on 05/28. A boil water notice was immediately required and released at some point on the afternoon of 05/28 via the fire department (using everbridge communication) and local media outlets. Four special coliform samples were collected on the evening of 05/28. ACTION NEEDED: The boil water notice status will be updated upon availability of sample results the morning of 05/30. | ||
