Operations

Details: SUMMARY: E coli detected, shock chlorinate, flush, resample DETAILS: Lab reports two repeats are E coli positive. Glenna says all customers given notice and will fax copy of notice to DWS. Glenna asked for how to disinfect if the two floc tanks are 1,800 gallons combined. To achieve 50 mg/L, that would be 1.8 gallons of 5% bleach solution. System piping adds more volume and bleach age unknown, so add 2 gallons, one to each floc tank. Mix in tank, flush water through system until bleach odor detected at each fixture. Let sit for at least 3 hours. Flush lines with regularly treated water. ACTION NEEDED: Sent Boil Notice to Tier 1 Comms and talked to Adam on phone duty.
