Details: SUMMARY: Well Flow Meter DETAILS: The Sleepy Hollow Phase 1 Water System is a water system within the City Limits of Salem. The water system is on its own well. The well serves 85 persons through 48 connections. Marty Lister contacted the Circuit Rider due to Arsenic levels exceeding the MCL. In addition to arsenic issues, the water system has high levels of Manganese, which causes significant aesthetic concerns. Discussed need for well flow meter to determine overall capacity of well and to meet the requirements of Oregon Department of Water Resources. Reviewed available options for meters, including cut sheets for various models available to the water system’s contractor. Visited water system to provide input for installation of equipment. ACTION NEEDED: Provide installation recommendations as needed.
