Details:	SUMMARY: Response to phone inquiry re: sewage spill into Dexter Reservoir - OERS #2014-0246 DETAILS: I received a phone call from Melody at 8:15 am on 2/14, as she had heard about a raw sewage spill into Dexter Reservoir, the Citys source of water supply, and was calling with concern about potential impacts to her drinking water. She had been able to reach the City, and was told the water was fine. I was initially not able to locate an OERS spill report, and after conferring internally, referred the caller to Willy Hartwig, PW Director for the City. Subsequent to our conversation, OERS forwarded me the spill report #2014-0246, with Willys contact information for a City sewage spill of approximately 100,000 gallons into Dexter Reservoir. I spoke with Willy at 11 am and he indicated he would call Melody back today. ACTION NEEDED: DWS to follow up to suppport City as necessary.
