Details:	SUMMARY: Filter Operations Troubleshooting DETAILS: The City of St Paul owns and operates a water system which supplies approximately 400 people through 153 connections. The City has a groundwater sourced system with 1 permanent well and 1 emergency well and a pressure filter plant for iron and manganese removal. The Circuit Rider was contacted by Lee Koch due to poor filter performance with the removal of manganese. The filter media is near the end of its useful life. In addition, the wells have been experiencing significant sanding, which is likely interfering with the media performance. Reviewed water quality data received by the city. Made preliminary recommendations for operational and media changes. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time.
