Details: SUMMARY: Ground Water Rule Follow-up Requirements DETAILS: Discussion was in follow up to 7/22 letter Re: e. coli found present in 2 source samples and later confirmed.Randy said he would confirm much of the following in letter by 9/15/141. HBH is planning to perform tracer study, date is undetermined.2. 3. Efforts on-going to eliminate standing water in vicinity of spring collection areas.4. Intent to eliminate spring apparatus now archaic from past residents.5. Devising sanitary means to collect source samples such as use of common header (must receive state approval for this) or installation of a spring box immediately below at least one spring collection area (advise doing plan review first)6. Hoping to start sampling by Mid December. Recognize failure to do so results in requirement to do public notice and may eventually result in enforcement action.7, 8, 9, 10. Work for spring box of old school spring continuing. 11.12. Provide sanitary means to collect source sample at old school spring (see 5 above).13. Commence source sampling by Mid December (see 6 above) ACTION NEEDED: Also discussed requirement to take DBP samples this fall.
