| Details: | SUMMARY: Notification of change to LCR schedule and GWR and Nitrate sampling due by 12/31/14 DETAILS: I called Robert Jones and spoke to him about the lead and copper schedule being reduced from 5 tap samples every 6 months to 5 tap samples every 3 years based on their last two 6-month sampling results, completed in June 2013. This new schedule is effective 1/1/2014. The two violations associated with the 6-month schedule accrued since June 30, 2013 are to be resolved. I also reminded Mr. Jones that nitrate sampling and an annual source water assessment sample are both due by the end of 2014. He said that he had contacted the lab about the nitrate sampling and will have the lab also complete the assessment sampling. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to sample for lead and copper on a 3 year frequency, with the next set of 5 tap samples due June 1st to Sept 30th of 2016 (last sampling was completed in June 2013 as part of a 6-month sampling schedule). PWS to also sample for nitrates and source water assessment coliform prior to December 31, 2014. OHA-DWS to resolve two lead and copper monitoring violations accrued since June 2013 due to the 6-month sampling schedule. | ||
