Details:	SUMMARY: Follow-up with operator regarding Assessment sampling and operations DETAILS: John you were going to send me a note on how you operated the wells of the Barlow Water System this year.The State is looking for Assessment samples from all active wells, if you only pumped wells 4 & 7 then with and e-mail from you I can request a waiver from those requirements on wells 2 and 6.Since you pumped well # 7 this year an assessment sample is required. It is up to you if you want to turn on #7 and pull a sample or receive a violation for not reporting an assessment sample for that well this year. That violation will return to compliance when a sample is submitted next year when the source is activated.I would encourage you to update your Coliform Sampling Plan to include the need for an assessment sample from each well that you pump in a given year.This does not mean that you have to pump each well just to take an assessment sample but only form those wells that the system normally uses.If you want to discuss this issue further please call.
