Details: SUMMARY: Complaint regarding taste and quality of drinking water DETAILS: An anonymous complaint was submitted regarding the water quality at the Grandview Mobile Home Park. The complainant stated the water is regularly brown and is not very palatable. I went over the types of testing the system does and showed this system is up to date on all water quality testing showing the water is safe to drink. The system performs residual maintenance for iron removal and water softening. The last survey shows the system is looped and it was recommended they flush 1-2 times per year. I explained the water color issue maybe related to the iron in the water, I explained this has nothing to do with the water safety but is only a water taste issue. I recommended they talk to there landlord about the issue to see if there is anything that they can work out together. In 2012 during the survey the iron removal system was in working order and operating. ACTION NEEDED: As per the complainant I will not contact the operator unless they want me too. I left them my card to contact me with any questions.
