| Details: | SUMMARY: alert follow up for Triggered repeat tc+ DETAILS: Spoke with Jim 4/15 a.m. and he had already shock chlorinated the well to approximately 50ppm. This is a shallow hand-dug well. He also is currently rebuilding the plywood lid and improving the seal around the margin. We discussed public notice, but there are no guests at the lodge yet and until he gets absent special samples, he will open the valve from the RV park system (95080) to supply water to the resort. This is typical for spring start-up, but they usually take a special sample first, but this year they took a routine which required repeat sampling. ACTION NEEDED: Complete chlorination of the well and replace the lid with a better tighter fitting lid. Redirect water from the RV park for this system until further sampling shows absent for coliforms in the well. Will need 5 temporary repeat samples in May from distribution representative of the resort well. | ||
