Details:	SUMMARY: Treatment Plant Shut Down DETAILS: Jerry called to inform DWS that the treatment plant shut down for about 8 hours on Saturday, June 26 due to high turbidity readings (30 minutes at 0.5 NTU) on the combined effluent turbidimeter. The cause of the high turbidity readings was determined to be either a cavitation problem or debris coming loose from inside the pump that sends water from the clearwell to the turbidimeter. Grab samples confirmed the turbidities met treatment standards. After the pump was replaced, turbidity readings decreased to match grab sample results. Controls are being reconfigured so that the old and new sides of the plant can be shut down individually if there is a problem instead of the entire plant. ACTION NEEDED: none.
