Details:	SUMMARY: called regarding violation & chemical monitoring requirements DETAILS: Jim received a violation postcard for not submitting a 6-mo round of lead and copper samples during the first half of 2015. He had taken two copper samples in January, as feedback on the effectiveness of the changes made to treatment. I confirmed that he needs to do two 6-month rounds of sampling for both copper AND lead, with good results, before the L and C schedule can be reduced. We reviewed all his monitoring requirements for the remainder of 2015. He also asked about classes to get his assistant licensed as an operator. ACTION NEEDED: Send Jim info on the Essentials of Surface Water Tmt class for his assistant, Ask Op Cert whether Jim really needs a Distribution 1 license to become DRC at this NTNC with hardly any distribution lines. Jim will sample for lead and copper (5), DBPs (1 dual), and nitrate in September. He will check with his management as to whether to take other chemical samples now or save them for 2016, which will be the final year of the 3-year monitoring period.
