| Details: | SUMMARY: TC+ alert follow up DETAILS: Got call from Russell at Edge and the routine sample that was positive was taken from the normal sampling location at the kitchen sink in the office. However, the MHP is undergoing lots of construction and installing/removing MHs and replacing water lines. Russell asked if they could invalidate and replace the sample because of this and he also learned that the water in the house had not been used for quite some time. I e-mailed chuck at DWP to OK this invalidation . A replacement from upstream has already been taken and results will be submitted tomorrow. Plans are to remove the old home which will be the last of the old cast iron piping in the system. We discussed updating coliform sampling plan and identify a replacement sample location. System chlorinates for biofilms, but may reconsider once all the iron pipes have been removed. Additional sampling may be required before discontinuing chlorine? ACTION NEEDED: Submit replacement sample and explain why sample was not representative and should be replaced. Reference original sample or10006347888. | ||
