Details:	SUMMARY: Boil Water Notice Due to Loss of Pressure at Willamette Water Co. DETAILS: Last Thursday evening on March 24, 2016 a voluntary boil water notice was issued from EWEB for the LCC Goshen area. There was a water main break at 33389 Bloomberg Rd. Eugene 97405, causing a loss of pressure at LCC and Willamette Water Company (purchaser of EWEB water). Delta Consulting was working with Willamette Water Company to collect preliminary samples immediately following the break to see if any coliform was detected in the water system, a precautionary boil water notice was issued by Willamette Water Company to their customers, due to loss of pressure in a portion of the water system. All 6 samples came back as absent on Saturday. Chlorine residual in the distribution was between 0.2 -0.5 ppm during sampling on Friday. Precautionary boil water notice was lifted on Saturday by the water system. EWEB samples following repair and disinfection were absent of coliform on Friday at 5:30 pm.Phebe Howe and Zach Roberts worked on situation by phone, in office, and in field, with-- EWEB, licensed facilities, Willamette Water Co. and Delta Consulting. Also provided the BIOLOGICALLY CONTAMINATED WATER SUPPLY OHA Guidance document on Friday to LCEH staff, affected businesses, and Willamette Water Co.No additional calls from the manager on call regarding the boil water notice. ACTION NEEDED: None.
