Details: SUMMARY: Test Result Slightly Above MCL at 10.5 DETAILS: I left 3 messages for Mel Locke, one on Tuesday 6/28/16 at 9:59am, one on Wednesday 6/29/16 at 9:41 am, on Thursday I left a message at 3:01 pm. I called Amy Word to get his email. While I was talking to Amy, Traci Jensen from River Point Farms called. Mel is no longer with River Point Farms however she was going to look into why she was not getting my messages. Amy Gore is the person that took over for Mel. Traci will be the contact until Amy is trained. Traci gave me all of her new information.I explained to Traci a public notice for Nitrates needs to be posted ASAP. I asked her to send me a copy of what she posts and a picture of where she posted it.I also explained that we need a confirmation sample ASAP. However with it being Friday and the Holiday on Monday Im guessing the lab will not accept samples until Tuesday so please call the lab and verify. They use Ag Source in Umatilla. Amy Word explained that they need to take the sample at the handwashing sink in the break room. I transferred this information to Traci, she was very appreciative.I asked her if she thought the filters needed to be cleaned or maintained. I asked if she knew when the last time that was done. She was going to ask the maintenance crew if they could do that right away and if they knew any information. ACTION NEEDED: Public Notice required to be posted.A Confirmation Sample needs to be taken to the lab.
