| Details: | SUMMARY: Technical Assistance - Potential TCR Alert DETAILS: The water system operator contacted us via phone and requested technical assistance regarding collecting ‘repeat’ and ‘triggered’ TCR samples following a ‘positive’ sample for microbiological contaminates. Mr. Price reported that the lab had called him via phone to report that one of their samples from 3/14/17 was positive for coliform bacteria.We also broadly discussed procedures for coliform investigations (if necessary).Finally, Mr. Price requested help with the coliform testing lab form. We needed to explain the nomenclature for source-id #s (SRC-AA, etc.). ACTION NEEDED: We asked Mr. Price to collect 3 ‘repeat’ distribution samples (one at the original ‘positive’ location-- one upstream-- one downstream). Also, we asked Mr. Price to collect 2 ‘triggered’ source samples (one at each source).We asked Mr. Price to contact us if any of the repeat and/or triggered samples were ‘positive’. | ||
