| Details: | SUMMARY: TC+ Repeats DETAILS: All repeats and triggered at well head came back positive for total coliform. I contacted Julian Ochoa and notified him that he is required to perform a Level 1 Coliform investigation within thirty days. I sent the operator a copy of the investigation form and a link to the investigation website. I told the operator that 3 routine samples are required from the system next month from the distribution system. I notified him that if any of those came back positive, that the firm is required to have a Level 2 investigation, which is performed by staff and has an associated charge. A level 2 investigation also moves water testing for the system to monthly. The operator and I discussed his recent water system operator training class and the instructions they provided for shock chlorinating the well and emptying the chlorinated water through the distribution system. He thought he had instructions but I sent some via email as well. I recommended he shock the well, sooner than later to allow for a better snapshot of the health of the well from the upcoming months three routine samples. ACTION NEEDED: Await the results of the Level 1 investigation. | ||
