  Comments:
The deficiencies noted are as follows:

1. Monitoring:
a. Lead and copper sampling is past due. Samples were last collected in 2001, and are required to be done every three (3) years. Violations for non-reporting must be published in your consumer confidence report, if you have not done so already. Please conduct the sampling as soon as possible and maintain the three-year frequency. Always sample lead & copper between June and September.
b. Disinfection by-product (DBP) sampling is past due. Monitoring must be done annually. DBPs consist of a trihalomethane (THM) sample and a haloacetic acid (HAA5) sample. It is a requirement for all systems that chlorinate or receive chlorinated water. The samples must be taken from one site at the location of maximum residence time in the system. Unlike coliform testing, once you select a site, you must continue to collect the sample from the same site. Always sample THM’s & HAA5’s during the warmest month of the year.
This site visit has not been entered into the deficiency database.
