  Comments:
TREATMENT 1. Incorrect location for compliance turbidity monitoring. 2. No means to adequately determine disinfection contact time under peak flow and minimum storage conditions. 3. Filters not compliant with current surface water treatment rules RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Keep a daily record of the turbidity of the incoming raw water. 2. Keep records of calibrating both the online turbidimeter and the hand unit. 3. Likewise, keep records showing that the on-line chlorine analyzer has been verified weekly with a DPD type or EPA approved test kit. 4. Review the accuracy of the daily data records. 5. Enter a value into the “peak hourly flow” column on the monthly reports, and be able to justify what it represents 6. Update the Emergency Response Plan. 7. Make sure the Operations and Maintenance Manual is readily accessible to water system staff so that it can serve its purpose.
