| Details: | Salem has issued a boil water notice for 70 homes in the Croisan Mountain Area. A power outage and backup generator failure at the Upper Croisan pump station caused a loss of pressure in the distribution system which triggered this boil water notice. Affected homes have been notified of the boil advisory via door hangers. Once pressure has been restored, the City will take the necessary bacteria samples to determine if the boil advisory can be lifted. Lifted 03/30/2022: Pressure has been restored and bacteria sample results are negative. City of Salem is lifting the boil advisory for the 70 affected homes. |
