Details: | Beth Radich e-mailed on 5/31/22 (Tues) to notify us that the boil water advisory had been extended through the weekend (The original advisory was never rescinded by them). The District has sent 4 email s to all accounts, and will send another 6/2/22 (Thurs) regarding the situation.
As of 6:04 pm on 5/31/22 (Tues), the current status was relayed via e-mail that the BOIL WATER notice remains in effect while they continue to test and monitor. They expect results 6/2/22 (Thurs) from sampling that is scheduled for 6/1/22 (Wed), and the residual CL levels continue to be sampled and monitored throughout the system. Pending the results from these activities, they anticipate being able to lift the Boil Water Notice.
Lifted 06/02/2022: The District lifted the boil notice on June 2, 2022 (Thurs) and communicated to all district accounts by email. Four routine samples taken on June 1 and results received June 2 were absent of any coliform bacteria. Based on the Level 1 Coliform Investigation with OAWU, system monitoring and the independent test results, the System Operator and Board agreed to lift the BWN and communicate to all accounts. Investigations by OAWU and the System Operator concluded there was ly no connection to the line leak discovered and repaired in early May that was isolated to a very small section of our Distribution system at the South end of the System (Falcon Lane). |
