| Details: | Water samples taken on multiple days in May showed high turbidity levels of 7.0 NTU. This is above the standard of [5.0] turbidity units. Also, during the month of April, there were several days the system failed to meet Contact Time.
Next steps:
The operator was advised to edit the public notice to include what the system is doing to address the situation and to post the public notice ASAP.
The boil water will be lifted once the system can show evidence that the turbidity is consistently back within the acceptable range and a lab sample shows absence of bacterial contamination.
Lifted 09/12/2022: SWTR reports for July and August show that turbidity level is back in compliance. Test results for water samples collected in July and August came back absent of bacterial contamination. |
