| Details: | 06.14.2022-Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board is a water system serving 34,500 people in Coos County. The system has issued a partial boil water advisory to customers of On Shore Edge Drive, in the Charleston area of Coos Bay. The Boil was due to a 2 inch main break in the distribution system. The break took place on 6.14.2022 at 10:00 a.m. It was caused by pipe failure. Approximately 50 services were affected. No food service facilities affected. The system performed direct notification of all affected services.
The boil will be lifted once repairs have been made and contingent on satisfactory results from 2 consecutive days of bacteriological sampling and confirmation of normal area chlorine residuals. The system expects to lift the boil on 06.16.2022 at 10:00 a.m. Lifted 06/16/2022: 06.16.2022-Water sample test results came back absent of bacterial contamination and the partial boil order was lifted. |
