| Details: | Operators notified DWS that a watermain was damaged on July 25th that caused a loss of pressure for the West Salem High School (located on 1776 Titan Drive NW) and the school is now under a boil water advisory. This advisory is for the high school only, no other customers are affected. The school was unoccupied during the event and will remain unoccupied today (July 26th). The boil advisory is a precautionary measure, no other residents are affected. A notice has been posed on the schools front door.
The pressure has been restored and the City has followed up with coliform samples. Operator will notify DWS with the results. Lifted 07/27/2022: Coliform samples (total coliform, E. coli) are negative and the system is removing the boil water notice from the schools front door. No further actions needed. |
