| Details: | Chris called to notify me that he issued a system-wide boil water notice today. A contractor broke a water line and an unknown amount of muddy water contaminated the distribution system. The pipe has been repaired and he is in the process of flushing the system. Once flushed and a chlorine residual is reestablished, he will collect some coliform samples and consult with DWS in order to lift the boil notice. Lifted 05/30/2017: The boil notice has been lifted for this system after flushing, reestablishing a chlorine residual, and a good coliform sample result. |
