| Details: | Lincoln County Environmental Health was notified on Saturday Aug 20, 2022 that Westwind Organizational Camp water system was shut down due to leak in system. After repairing the break, the VFD seemed to overcharge the system causing several breaks up the line throughout the camp. System has been shut down with no water available. Lincoln County will work with Westwind and Oregon Drinking Water program on next steps and testing once repairs have been made. It is unknown at this time how extensive the breaks are and when the system will be restored.
Lifted 08/26/2022: Repairs to system and lines have been completed. System was shock chlorinated and lines bled. Follow up testing on August 24, 2022 for total coliform and E Coli came back negative |
