Details: The water system collected its monthly arsenic sample on 9/7. It tested at 44.8ppb which is over the state level of 35ppb for the Do Not Drink notice-vulnerable population. The system has treatment, so currently unknown what has happened. Notices have been posted both onsite and on the schools website. More information will be posted as we know more. A sample collected on 10/5/22 tested at 50ppb for arsenic. I spoke with the system (Superintendent and facilities) on 10/12 and one of the lines had been plugged. They are submitting a sample to the lab and hope to have an expedited result.

Lifted 11/16/2022:  The water system collected an arsenic sample on 11/9/22 and the result was received on 11/16. The result was 16ppb. This result is over the MCL of 10ppb it is under the 35ppb level for Oregons Do Not Drink - therefore the notice has been lifted. The system is continuing to work with the treatment vendor to the treatment.
