| Details: | A Large mainline break occurred today due to construction/digging in the area, all connections are impacted and currently without water due to water being turned off at the storage tanks. Lowell is following the BMPs and fixing the mainline break now with plans to flush the system and collect coliform samples after returning water quality chlorine residuals to normal. The boil water notice can be lifted if the coliform samples come back absent. Lifted 11/21/2022: Operator called to let me know that all lines were flushed, residuals taken and then samples taken on November 18th and submitted. All 5 samples were negative. |
