| Details: | Please be advised that the District issued the attached “Loss of Pressure Boil Water Notice” to approximately 40-SRWD customers in the Bayshore Community on Oceania Drive Between Pacific Way and Marine View Drive. This community is located at the south end of the districts system. Please find attached a copy of the notice that was hand delivered to customer in the affected area this morning.
District crews performing an emergency waterline repair created conditions of low pressure in the system. The affected area is isolated to approximately 40-homes and the system was thoroughly flushed once repairs were completed. A bacti sample will be taken from a designated sample point located within the affected area. Sample will be delivered to Analytical Labs in Eugene as soon as possible. Following guidance provided by Oregon Health Authority the District will report the results of the bacti sample to OHA when they become available before lifting the No Pressure Boil Water Notice. This area is all residential customers with no commercial businesses or restaurants in the affected area.
Lifted 02/16/2023: Adam informed me the repairs have been made and the samples are negative. All affected customers have been notified of the lifted notice. |
