| Details: | 3/6/23 - Was made aware of a boil water notice on the property by a resident via email. Spoke with Joann, who was temporarily covering for Samantha, and she stated the following: (1) The water was shut off for a few hours on 3/2/23, (2) Special coliform samples were collected once the water pressure was restored, (3) Residents were notified of the Boil Water advisory via email, mail and signs around the facility, and (4) they expect the have the coliform results today. Provided my contact information and asked Joann to call once she had the coliform results. Also discussed keeping our office in the loop during planned water system repairs and if a boil water notice is issued.
3/7/23 - Mani Khalsa called to report that their water sample came back positive for total coliform. Recommended chlorinating the lines, flushing the system then collecting multiple coliform samples in the distribution, at least 3. Mani stated he would collect additional samples today and contact our office with the results. The Best Management Practices guidance was also emailed to Mani after our conversation. Lifted 03/08/2023: 3/8/23 - Received negative coliform results from the water system. Boil Water advisory lifted. |
