| Details: | The City of Tillamook Water Dept (00893) notified 9 services (2 residential and 7 commercial including 2 food service establishments) yesterday afternoon that they were on a boil water notice due to a 12” diameter ductile iron waterline break causing a loss in pressure. Pressure has been restored and they are going to flush, check chlorine residuals and take coliform samples prior to letting them know the water is safe to drink. I sent the loss of pressure boil notice template to the City and notified Tillamook County and ODA staff. More details are below.

5. A Dentist Office
6. Spectrum cable provider store
7. Farmers Insurance (located in a duplex type business)
Update 03/21/2023: 3/21/23 : waterline has been repaired, flushed and tested for coliform bacteria (results pending). Another test was taken today and results should be available tomorrow (3/22/23). Lifted 03/22/2023: Testing results that came back Tuesday and Wednesday were absent of coliform bacteria. Affected customers were notified Wednesday morning that the notice had been rescinded. |
