| Details: | The water system had collected its quarterly nitrate on 6/7/23 and the result was 10.9ppm. Due to the result being received on a Friday, the system is unable to get a follow up sample within 24 hours. The system was put on a Do Not Drink advisory. Public notice templates (English and Spanish) were given to the owner and treatment vendors for the MHP. Will as more information is received.
* 6/17/23* The water systems treatment vendor, Lindsey Ecowater, went out and inspected the equipment and did an in-home nitrate test on 6/13 that tested at 5ppm. The compliance sample collected on 6/14 tested at 18.8ppm at the lab. The Do Not Drink order is still in place. Treatment vendor will continue to troubleshoot the issue. Lifted 06/21/2023: The treatment vendor has been working on the treatment system. A nitrate sample collected on 6/19 tested at 7.16ppm. As this is below the MCL of 10ppm, the do not drink advisory has been lifted. |
