| Details: | View Point Trailer Court had a wildfire on the night of 6/14/23. The fire department connected to the hydrants and drained the reservoir leaving the park without pressure. NPCHD informed the operator (Doug Best) to issue a public notice to inform customers not to drink the water due to possible chemical contamination. Doug has been informed of the shocking and flushing protocol for bacterial contaminants and sampling for chemical contaminants. Once samples have been submitted, the decision to lift the advisory will be determined on the results of the sampling. Lifted 07/10/2023: NCPHD contacted Nielsen Research today. Results for VOC and BTEX came back non-detect. The advisory can be lifted and customers will be notified by water operator Doug Best. |
