| Details: | 07.07.2023-Rich reported that on July 3 the camp-host noticed Forest recreation personnel that there wasnt any water at the camp. With July 4th being a holiday, Rich was notified on July 5th.
The Forest Service is evaluating the complete loss of pressure in the system and repairs will follow once the evaluation is completed. The proper start-up, disinfection, and flushing of the system will occur once the repairs are made. Special samples will be collected and pending non-coliform results the system will be put back into service. Routine samples will be taken in accordance with Forest Service and State requirements.
Rich also spoke to the Forest Service Recreation. If any water is provided, it will be commercially available bottled water.

Lifted 07/31/2023: Rich reported that their contractor has remedied the pump failure at Foster Bar. The operator refilled the system and has taken a special sample. Test results came back absent of bacterial contamination. The boil advisory has been lifted. |
