| Details: | Stephanie Patterson informed me that the City of Powers issued a boil water advisory on July 19, 2023, as a precautionary measure during emergency water main line repairs. The location of the main line break was at the end of the line, affecting only one residential water customer located at 41850 South Powers Road. The customer was contacted in person for notification. There may be a follow up repair occurring today due to the condition of the line. The water system anticipates receiving the final results from the testing lab no later than Monday, July 24, at which time they will lift the boil water advisory and notify the affected customers. Lifted 07/24/2023: Stephanie Patterson reported that water sample lab report returned showing absence of bacterial contamination. The boil water advisory has been lifted. |
