| Details: | Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board has issued a precautionary boil advisory as a result of a water main break that affected 15 connection in North Bend on Newmark Avenue: from Chester St West to Edgewood Drive and from Brussels St South to Lockhart St. No food service facilities affected and no need for language access required. All affected customers have received direct notification.
The boil advisory will be lifted contingent on satisfactory lab results from 2 consecutive days of bacteriological sampling and confirmation of normal area chlorine residuals. Lifted 07/28/2023: Rick reported that lab results for water samples came back absent of coliform contamination. The boil advisory was lifted today at 4:00 p.m. |
