Details: | PFAS sampling conducted as part of the OHA-DWS PFAS Sampling Project showed PFOS at 18.0 ppt, PFHxS at 12.5 ppt, and PFBS at 15.2 ppt at entry point A (EP-A) for a sample collected 4/26/23. Since the sum of the concentrations of PFOS and PFHxS is 30.5 ppt and exceeds the Oregon 30 ppt HAL, OHA-DWS recommends the water supplier issue an advisory to all water consumers as soon as possible but no later than 30 days and reissue the advisory annually as long as the HALs are exceeded, begin investigating options to lower PFAS levels below the HALs, conduct finished water PFAS monitoring annually and sharing any future results with your water consumers, any purchasing water systems, and OHA-DWS in a timely manner, and report any PFAS detections in the annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). System notified OHA 8/22/23 that notices were provided to all residents and posted in laundry room. System is working with OHA to pursue BIL Emerging Contaminant funding to evaluate options to address the PFAS issue. Lifted 05/28/2024: Removing advisory this data because it is a tier 2 (non-acute), aligning our practice with other contaminants with a tier 2 notice. This page is only for tier 1 (acute) notices. |
