| Details: | On 9/19 E.coli was detected at one site in distribution. None of the 5 repeat samples were positive for E.coli but 4 of them (except the upper well) were positive for total coliform. A Boil Water Advisory should be in effect until they test negative for total coliform or until the chlorinator is installed. A level 2 coliform investigation is scheduled for 09/29 to find the potential pathway of contamination. Lifted 10/11/2023: On 10/11 the routine sample was absent of coliform. Sections of leaking or shoddily patched pipes have been replaced, and subsequently buried 2 feet deeper than they were previously. All of the outside hose spigots on the homes have been removed. A new pressure tank had been replaced as well. Disinfection is being installed. |
