| Details: | Phone contact with operator. E.coli has been confirmed in the distribution and the system will post a public advisory for boiling water. Oregon Very Small System with confirmed E.coli present in water system two times with-in 30 days must demonstrate the system has removed the contamination or install chlorination. Until the water quality issue is addressed the system will remain on the boil advisory. Update 08/16/2024: Phone contact with water system contact, contact is working with Early Learning Division and Lane County regarding child care facility. System is working with property managing company and Oregon water services to address bacterial E.coli issue. Proposed idea as of 8/24 is UV. Lane County is working with OHA and Plan Review to determine best next steps for water system to address treatment, plan review, and boil water advisory with water system Update 12/11/2023: As of 12/11/2023 system has been issued an "Alternative Water Source Declaration" by DELC with regards to licensed child care facilities. 5/1/2024 - system is still using alternative water source and remains unable to address water quality issue. System is working with property owner to address water issue and LCEH is working with DELC with regards to child care operations. Lifted 12/23/2024: System is inactive as of 12/23 due to closure. Advisory will reopen if water system is reactivated. |
