| Details: | The DRC alerted me to the boil water notice that was issued on Thursday January 4th. The Board President reported that the WTP had not been functioning at 100 since a storm last month and then a leak on the main line caused the reservoirs to drop quicker than the WTP was able to keep up with resulting in a loss of pressure to the system. The leak was found around 11pm Thursday evening and repaired late Friday afternoon. Water was restored to all customers Friday night. Samples will be submitted either Monday or Tuesday, the boil water notice will remain in place until the sample results are negative.
1/11/24: the samples were submitted to the lab on 1/11, awaiting the results. Lifted 01/12/2024: President of the Board emailed the negative results on Friday the 12th, the boil water was lifted the same day. |
