| Details: | Albany had a main break last night on a 6” AC water line. Upon repair, the main had to be shut down causing a loss of pressure to 16 homes. The main has been temporarily repaired and a coliform sample taken to the lab as of this morning. Albany expects test results first thing tomorrow morning. Crews notified the 16 residents to boil their water by knocking on doors and leaving the attached door hangers. Albany is in process of putting a brief news release regarding this situation on our website, which should be up within the hour. Lifted 01/05/2019: Samples for taken for Coliform and E Coli have tested absent. Effected residents have been notified that the water is safe to use without boiling. |
