| Details: | A waterline with a pressure transducer that is used to see the water level in a storage tank froze and no longer communicated the correct water level. The storage tank then drained, resulting in a loss of pressure for around 1,000 customers, including a school (currently closed due to weather conditions). The system is working on notifying the public and collecting 3-4 samples. Depending on the incoming ice storm and severe weather warning, sample results are expected to come in tomorrow. Lifted 01/17/2024: Coliform results have returned negative for all samples. The City is lifting the boil advisory today. |
